The Smart Read Control Module |
The control module enables you to switch your equipment on or off remotely, by SMS. The module improves security and makes it easier for your business to reduce power consumption.
The module consists of a plug unit with built-in relay, and communicates exclusively with the Smart Read meter.
The module is plugged directly into the AC power socket while the equipment in question is connected to the module's substitute socket. Besides being able to switch your equipment on or off by SMS, you can also do this manually by pressing the pushbutton on the front of the module.
Smart Read Control Module Option Features:
- Control is a documented switch on and off service in connection with the Smart Read meter.
- The module communicates exclusively with the Smart Read meter.
- The device consists of a male/female unit with built-in relay.
- Plugs directly into an AC power socket while the device (max. 10 A) to be controlled is connected to the module's substitute socket.
- The Smart Read meter commands the module to switch on or off. The module acknowledges carrying out the action.
- If the module receives a message to change to the current status, it acknowledges as if it has changed status.
